At 4' 10 and a half, "Little Lydia" has a big mission to help other mamas feel ecstatically happy in their homeschooling and entrepreneurial journeys. Being a teacher and a tutor for more than 30 years, with a Master's degree in elementary education to boot, Lydia created a winning combination of her knowledge and experience in both education and life coaching to help learners and parent educators accomplish their goals.
Once upon a time, the chaos of life pulled Lydia in many directions, and she tried to balance homeschooling while bouncing from one business to the next, without making the impact she really wanted financially, vocationally or personally. Afraid she would have to choose between homeschooling and entrepreneurship, Lydia transformed this limited idea when she studied under renowned thought leader Mary Morrissey and became a certified Life Mastery Consultant™ (transformational life coach). This training led her to design a life-giving weekly rhythm for herself, her family, and her business.
After road testing this powerful system, Lydia's life is now a flowing dance between homeschooling her son and coaching her clients, while also maintaining the house and caring for her mother-in-law and the family pets. She easily prioritizes plenty of fun, self-care and has dates with her husband, too. Lydia is most proud of her son who is now dual enrolled, successfully homeschooling at the high school level while completing classes at a local college.
Lydia loves having time for what she enjoys most: nature, pets, hiking, gardening, crafting, family fun and coaching clients. She calls herself a "FearBuster™ Mama Coach" because she busted her fear that she couldn't have it all, and she empowers other mamas to do the same.
